Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee has probably announced a gift for the President Donald Trump. Yes, he will not use his position to investigate James Comey or Russia.
Jason Chaffetz, former chairman of the House Oversight Committee was not like him. He has demanded the Comey Memos and has also urged Comey to take the stand himself.
” I told Bob Mueller that I would never do anything wittingly or unwittingly that veered over into his lane. The memos are in the jurisdiction of Bob Mueller and Judiciary Committee because it has jurisdiction over Department of Justice and the FBI.”, said Gowdy, while talking with reporters.
Well, this is really a good sign for President Trump. It will really provide him relief from the Russia investigation.
