Smartpens! Who would have thought?
It’s absolutely Ludacris and you would try to weasel your way out of a conversation about “pens”. It’s for the nerds who score an A+ in class, not for an artist or an aeronautic engineer right? Wrong! It’s the 21st century and humans have a knack for taking old things and turning them new. So we did. We took plant pots and made them smart pots, we took the phone and made them smartphones, and now we have our hands on pens!
The most used tool in the world has gone through a surgical procedure and came back completely futuristic like Robocop or Cyborg from the justice league. But what has humanity done to pens that made them worthy of having a dedicated content piece?
1. Jinsu Color Picker Pen!
Have you ever used Adobe Photoshop or illustrator? If you have then you must know what a color picker is. It’s a handy dandy tool that lets you pick the exact color out of a picture in Photoshop or Illustrator. But suppose you have to draw a realistic banana. You have the skills but do you have the right colors? How about you take the yellow straight from a banana? Yup! It’s possible with the Jinsu Color picker pen. Just stick it in the object you want and the pen will automatically start writing with that exact color!
2. One for Fashion Designers, please!
Coming right up! If you work in the fashion industry or you have finally evolved from wearing leaves to wearing clothes then “Fabric Pen” is made for you. Thanks to a Lithuanian designer Ingrida Kazenaite our moms can fix our torn clothes with just a swoosh and Fashion Designers can make clothes that make sense (Fingers Crossed). The pen is designed to release material that can mend fabric and also helps in drawing like a 3-D pen.
3. It’s the 21st Century and I want to walk in my Painting!
That’s what timothy in our team has been asking for a very long time and we have started to pretend he doesn’t exist. Until recently when Google heard our friend’s sorrow and made a futuristic pen that can take Timmy to the La-la land he always wanted. Enter Google tilt brush to rescue Timmy!
Google Tilt brush allows the user to paint in a virtual reality world with, of course, a “pen” and VR Glasses. The artist can draw and fall in love as well as fall inside their painting with Google Tilt Brush! Thanks, Google! And we’re just happy that Timothy would be strolling casually in his painted scenery during lunch hours avoiding human interaction.
4. We went into the Matrix and got ourselves a Pen!
